A new indestructible, innovative, and affordable small boat was launched at the London Boat Show. All it needs to provide endless fun and enjoyment is an outboard up to 10hp! The new Zegul is not a dory, a dinghy, or even a RIB but a combination of all these concepts rolled into one, plus a bit more. Built in the land that brought us dynamite, Volvo, and Abba this easily portable family craft simply breaks every current convention. With a central planing hull and a pair of bolt-on side “pontoons” the Zegul is moulded in bomb proof polyethylene and has been designed so that no part is more than 32 kg making it easy to lift onto a roof rack or trailer.
The really astute design allows the side “pontoons” to be carried inside the hull so the whole shebang looks like a top-box when it’s on the roof of your 4x4 – very cunning! The Zegul has been designed for those who want a small craft they can abuse. It simply needs no maintenance. It even comes in a range of colours and you can “mix-n-match” the hulls and “pontoons” to get a truly personal colour combination. At around 2.222 eur the Zegul is simply a great buy.
