This what happened in the Sport of Sailing Globally in the past 7 days:
• This week we start with a preview of the Noakes Sydney-Gold Coast Race as we interview the Commodore of the CYCA and their Sponsor Sean Langman Sailor and M.D. of the Noakes Group
• Sun Hung Kai/Scallywag had a tight tussle with ex Volvo and Rolex Sydney Hobart Race winner "MAGIC" to be first home in the NYYC Transat Race
• "ARGO" is the first Multi home in the 50th running of the TransPac. Brian Thompson is interviewed
• "Comanche" is the first Mono in Honolulu and we talk to Jim Cooney and Stan Honey. (Owner and Navigator)
• George Bekris the famous Sailing Photographer was in Newport for the 12 Metre Worlds. He sent us these fabulous photos of the yachts. Rob Brown our Host was the Sail Trimmer on "AUSTRALIA II" in '83 when they took the Americas Cup trophy from Dennis Connor in "LIBERTY".
Rob was a little choked up when these pics came in. A big thank you George.

• Finn U23 World Championship Silver Cup in Anzio, Italy
• Will Cooley and Rebecca Hancock (AUS) are the Nacra 15 World Champions. We talk to them.
