Kenyon International announces the introduction of the first 2-burner touch control cook top for the marine industry. Developed by Kenyon engineers specifically for the constrained space of marine galleys, this smooth ceramic glass cook top may be flush mounted to provide an open galley countertop devoid of knobs and frame ridges. Inherent design advantages allow for the complete elimination of labor & materials to recess mount a traditional cook top (with knobs) and conceal (with cutting board or countertop). Innovative Kenyon Lite-Touch technology utilizes state-of-the-art infrared touch control sensors that are unaffected by moisture and humidity.
Safety features of the Lite-Touch 2 include:
*Hot Surface Indicator - Warns surface is hot
*Fault Indicator - Alarm shuts unit down if object covers sensor for 10 seconds
*Lock Out Function - Lock “on” or “off” to avoid changes or activation by children.
*Heat Boost Function - Accelerated heat delivery to burner
