Max Power´s Stern Pod range of stern thruster units has been designed with the aim of simplifying the traditionally problematic installation of stern thrusters. The Stern Pod is a single pre-assembled unit which can be directly fitted from the outside of the transom thus requiring little access to the inside of the boat. Moreover, the Stern Pod has been assembled with its drive leg coupling and motor at the Max Power factory thereby ensuring a guaranteed assembly process. Waterproof to IP65, the thrusters motor is therefore protected from water and the corrosive atmosphere in the bilge. Easy to install and requiring nothing other than simple electrical connections, the Stern Pod greatly reduces installation time. (www.max-power.com)
