Jetpac powers Zodiac military and professional ribs
Technical details
Producer: Sword Marine Technology (USA)

To keep pricing competitive and ensure long-term operational dependability for military or professional missions, Zodiac now offers its popular Sea Rib Open 700, powered by the innovative Sword Marine Technology diesel JetPac.
The JetPac´s 200-hp International diesel engine is mounted on top of the jet and is coupled to the drive by a toothed Kevlar belt system. The large-diameter jet is responsible for the unit´s high thrust and quick acceleration, which makes it ideal for fast-response operations. The unique feature of this propulsion unit is that it´s installed in a completely enclosed fiberglass hull that bolts directly to the exterior of the boat´s transom. The JetPac hull extends no lower than the keel of the boat, effectively increasing its planing surface, and is designed to provide from 200 to 500 pounds of buoyancy. Other benefits of the JetPac are that by enclosing the engine/drive, no fluids can be leaked into the environment, and the lack of a shaft makes launch and recovery easy.
Zodiac´s SRO 700 is a 23´ RIB designed for rigorous inland and offshore duty. It´s sold complete and ready to go with a 52-gal lon, integrated fuel tank, steering console with controls, standing bolster and 12V marine-grade battery. Also, ample interior space aids in the transport of gear and equipment.
