Jeanneau 57

New for 2010, this 17.80m flagship of the Jeanneau range holds an unequalled top of the range position in the large yacht category. The standard of finish is exceptional. The combination of elegant hull, innovative feel to the deck plan and incredible modernity of the interior layout on the Jeanneau 57 has already won the hearts of the brand’s customers.

During sea trials at Sables d’Olonne exceptional results were achieved across the board in all tests relating to performance with furling gear or fully battened, safety at sea, manoeuvrability with short handed crew releasing the skipper to the helm, and comfort on board whether on deck or down below with spaces that can be configured as desired.

New technical solutions have been introduced such as the innovative companionway with two large sliding doors; the electric platform with integrated dinghy garage; the latest generation Volkswagen Marine TDI 140-5 engine which has proved impressively silent; more than 158m2 top of the range made-to-measure sails and the latest generation of Harken electric winches.

So far as interior comfort and appeal is concerned, yacht designer Philippe Briand, in collaboration with the Concept and Design consultants Garroni/Premorel, has distinguished himself from the competition by exploiting the interior spaciousness to the full:
- The splendid contemporary saloon reflecting its nautical heritage is bathed in light.
- The Jeanneau 57 can take more than eight people and provides wonderful views in every direction through the generous side and front windows along the deck.
- The finest materials have been meticulously chosen – top quality leathers and a multitude of mouldings in the pure Jeanneau boat-building tradition.
- With the option of 3, 4 or 5 superb cabins with private head compartments, the Jeanneau 57 offers a standard of extraordinary comfort at a most attractive price for boats of this length.
