Dehler 39 SQ

Dehler 39 SQ is an answer to demands for successful and proved sailing yacht model that will satisfy the needs of contemporary sailors, while for the sporty sailor she proves to be the right partner to fulfil ambitions. Owes its elegance to verified design that does not sightlessly follow trendy solutions, excellent maritime qualities, handling simplicity and quality devised interior. It is intended for long sailings in complete comfort but also as the serious participant of racing competitions. Above-average speed she accomplishes owing to long waterline, well-balanced underwater base and a large sail plan. The 39 SQ is equipped with a larger aluminium mast with more sail area than earlier D39s. To obtain even more speed, a much lighter carbon fibre mast is available, which can be combined with a racing keel. Furthermore the boat is lighter, using modern glass fibre and improved weight saving methods. The steering column is incorporated into the cockpit to create space in which to install extra navigation instruments. Even more important, this results in an improved ergonomic position for the helmsman. Besides that, the heightened helmsman’s seat offers the helmsman a better view. For improved trimming of the main, the boat is equipped with a long traveller – running the full width of the cockpit. In relation to the older model, interior does not bring some more important news. Below-deck consists of two cabins and a big saloon with galley. Saloon table can be lowered in order to obtain two auxiliary sleeping places. Aft part comprises third cabin (with the entrance from the bathroom space) that can be supplied with an additional folding bed in charter version, or serve as a sail storage in racing version.
