X-Yacht Xp 33

The Xp 33 has been developed for the increasing customer group interested in an easy-handled and inexpensive sports boat with sailing pleasure as the highest priority. Sailing pleasure is not only proportional with maximum speed “downhill” but an undefined feeling of being aboard a boat with a perfect balance.

The Xp 33 is equipped with a relatively heavy lead keel, lower freeboard than on conventional boats, broader stern like in the X-79 days and built in vacuum-infused vinylester with local carbon fibre reinforcements in the bottom.

A carbon fibre bowsprit of 2 meters eliminates the need for symmetric spinnakers and enables the less trained crew to use an asymmetric spinnaker.

The furling jib with vertical battens makes sailing a pleasure – cruising as well as racing – and facilities for installing an anchor winch open up many opportunities for using the Xp 33 for cruising sailors.

Below deck you will find a very functional and lightweight interior. The structural bulkheads are made from plywood securely bonded to hull and deck but the furniture is partially crafted in composite materials. This \'simple but effective\' approach to the Xp 33 will be the key driver to her performance.
