Dutch Carbon 36

The Dutch Carbon 36 is an all carbon - including the girder - designed to bear any load from rigging to keel, built to last, racer-cruiser. She has an easily planing hull because of her revolutionary design by Andrej Justin. The Dutch Carbon 36 all carbon in numbers: a hull length of 10.99, lwl 9.62, beam max 3.50, standard draft 2.20, ballast 1250 kgs, displacement 2990 kgs. Dutch Carbon Yachts, builders of exclusive racer-cruisers, combine top-level resin technology from Hexion with computer controlled vacuum infusion technology from Polyworx. This combination is what makes it possible for yard to produce the Dutch Carbon 36 in all carbon: the best combination of racer-like handling and cruiser-like long-term quality and comfort.
Dutch Carbon 36 is designed for easy solo sailing, because a simple autopilot can handle her. In same way, she is prepared for one class design with as new rule where 5 people are maximum, or 4+autopilot. All carbon for light weight results that planing becomes reality. Thus, strong forces in sails ´disappear´ so no big muscles needed to handle her. Also, no heavy and complex equipment is needed, resulting in a low weight, low maintenance, high reliability yacht. Oversized winches make children participate in racing/sailing. Also use of furling for both jib and asymmetric possible. Behind steering position there is removable box, for closing cockpit when cruising. This box can be left on pontoon containing anything considered excess weight when racing. The cockpit and deck are spacious for easy moving around the yacht.
Dutch Carbon 36 has spacious interior as a result of straight hull lines. Table can be easy removed for racing. Wet sails have space behind toilet in drying locker. The athmosphere is very light with 1.90 m height. For sleeping interior can accommodate 4 in comfort, with 3 more when needed. Manouvering inside is easy as outside because of huge space, thus many windows always give light and fresh air inside. Choice of wood or what kind of wood or different materials is also possible .
In high tech business for many years, literally present in all major composites products on the market today. Hexion is the leading resin supplier for high-end applications in boatbuilding, aerospace, automotive and wind-energy. Dutch Carbon uses the new MGS high performance resins from Hexion with enhanced mechanical properties. Polyworx is a leading technology supplier for composites processing and contributes with a tailor made variant of the Controlled Vacuum Infusion (CVI) technology specifically developed for Dutch Carbon Yachts.
It is exactly this CVI technology that gives Dutch Carbon an edge over SPRINT (tm) or SCRIMP technology users because of unlimited computer simulations with variations of parameters to reach the unsurpassed quality of the Justin 36. The combined technology allows very precise calculation of the best balance of resin and fibre at every square inch of the product. This allows for true-to-design production which highly increases reliability without compromise to safety or performance in the longer term.
