Comar Comet 36 Sport

The Comet 36 Sport pretty much follows lines of her 36-foot predecessor, replacing only small elements in accordance with her racing purpose. Designed by Sergio Lupoli and now available also in the open stern version, she features a nine-tenths fractional rig with swept aft spreaders, which is completely manageable from the cockpit. 36 Sport boasts a powerful hull with a long, well balanced water line and a large transom with reduced overhangs.
Advanced technologies are used to build the boat. Her vacuum-bagged, sandwich hull uses Airex core and byaxial cloth, ensuring maximum rigidity and low displacement. Like each Comet, the 36 Sport offers wonderful cruising possibilities while retaining good racing capabilities.
This yacht features an elegant, easy living, internal layout, with the looks and quality that Comar customers have come to expect from all of their craft. American cherry wood, as wheel steering system, are standard. A teak laid sunbathing platform on the coachroof, a stern bathing platform, with folding steps and two bronze bow rollers, provide Comet 36 sport owners with a taste of the “dolce vita” whilst at anchor in summertime.
