Catana 65

The brand new Catana 65 combines excellent performance and the new architecture (Christophe Barreau) with an attention to seaworthiness and durability, for extended offshore cruising. Her fluid lines, Carbon mast, Code 0, self tacking Solent Jib and relatively light displacement makes for fast, easy and comfortable sailing for a short-handed crew. The new integral forward beam, brings more stiffness to the structure and the rig. With its fine entry hulls, underwater bulb’s tuliped towards the deck and its daggerboards, the Catana 65 continues to enhance Catana’s reputation of stability, security, and performance.
Also, a big care has been dedicated to the comfort of the passengers. The well sheltered huge cockpit allows a free circulation as well as easier and safer manoeuvres. With its unique self-supporting bimini increasing forward visibility and allowing the possibitlity of solar panels and a comfortable sun lounge.
There are a number key factors that have made the Catana 65 a definitive choice. The interior design, by Linea Concept, offers a choice of two warm atmospheres: a modern ambiance with Wengue floors, clear oak panelling, alu brushed trim and Alcantara sofa, or the classic and refined ambiance mixing rare species of precious woods and leather seatings. The clever use of space offers exceptional comfort for all onboard. Accommodations include very comfortable and airy owner’s cabin with a lot of storage space and three guest double cabins with toilets. The huge platform features a panoramic view on the outside and offers a high comfort dining salon, a lounge and a large forward-facing navigation table with ample storage. The U shaped galley with the top-of-the-line equipment, has direct access to the cockpit and bar.
