Broadblue 415

Featuring the same intrinsic standards of her sister yachts, the Broadblue 415 is based on the proven and very successful design of the 435 model at a considerable cost saving. The 415 will boast more accommodation than the outstanding Broadblue 385 and less complexity than the luxurious Broadblue 435. A perfect combination of power, space and affordability the yacht is priced at ?219,995 ex VAT representing tremendous value for money for a pedigree catamaran of this quality of finish.
After considerable research, Broadblue has selected the Ossa Powerlite propulsion system as an option on its forthcoming range of boats and the 415 will be the first in the line to be available with this outstanding diesel electric drive system. While other electric motor drives are available, the Ossa Powerlite offers a host of advantages such as providing a generator without added cost, sufficient to run a full DC/AC system including air conditioning. The small, Mercedes Smart Car engine drives a 25KW 240VDC generator which then drives two 35hp water cooled electric motors thereby not relying on batteries and being capable of running constantly at near half the fuel cost of standard engines and even better performance. A whisper quiet, highly cost effective and eco friendly alternative to diesel engines.
The Broadblue 415 offers clients the chance to own a stunning, high volume cruiser with outstanding sea keeping qualities and the capability of making fast and safe passages. The accommodation will be extremely spacious and comfortable with the choice of two superb layouts. The ever popular owner’s version with a fully enclosed hull for totally private accommodation and a practical 4 cabin 4 head layout which is ideal for the larger family, or for charter boats this version can also include two additional single berths forward to give up to 10 berths.
