Bond Yachts Motorcat 30

Bond Yacht could be able to make an excellent sale on Adriatic boating market. Their two-hull Motorcat 30, besides appealing appearance and unsinkable structure, offers plenty of interior space for her nine meters of length. Besides, she is transportable (2.600 kilos with a trailer), thus marina costs can be excluded. Practicality and functionality are Motorcat 30´s main characteristics, but her attractiveness is also unquestionable, regardless of stockiness that is inseparable from this type of vessel. However, such burliness has its advantages since, besides spaciousness, due to small draught, it enables anchoring in the shallowest bays and, if bottom is sandy, it is possible to lift outboard propellers and simply run aground without fear of damaging underwater part. Especially noteworthy is cleverly utilised bow deck which, besides for sunbathing, serves as disembarking platform, when lowered. Hulls have strong sandwiched structures and are linked by upper cabin section. For better and safer bond, there are three steel profiles laminated with 12 kilos of laminate each. Equipped with two outboard engines of 50HP each, Motorcat develops maximum speed of almost 26 knots, while cruising speed is 21 (at 4500 rpm) with cruising range of 419 nm and fuel consumption of 13,1 litres. By lowering revolutions per minute to 3500 rpm, speed is 16,6 knots with fuel consumption of 9,5 l/h, but cruising range is reduced for 14,5 nm. However, with speed decreased to still good 10,4 knots, fuel consumption drops to only 2,7 l/h, while cruising range amounts to whole 1020 nm.
