Terhi 475 Twin C

Terhi, the largest producer of recreational boats in Scandinavia, launches a new flagship model to its’ range. 475 Twin C is the first Terhi boat with a double console and already for that reason a notable new model. On top of the console arrangement it offers also other fresh and clever solutions such as the generous stowage space in the boat. On the Scandinavian market the new model takes a place in the most popular motor boat class.
Two consoles with windshield and handrails provide a good shelter from breeze and spray yet the visibility from both the pilot’s and co-pilot’s seat is excellent. Also a canvas used between the consoles belongs to standard equipment.
There is generously stowage space both inside the consoles and elsewhere in the boat. The consoles have lockable glove compartments and on the dashboard there is more storage space for small items, on the co-pilot’s console actually enough to accommodate a sea chart. On both sides the space is sheltered from the weather by a plexi cover. On consoles there is also adequate space to install the meters, navigation electronics and a radio. For larger items such as what a family might need for a weekend when using the boat for commuting to a summerhouse, one finds inside the consoles as well as in the bow and stern of the boat. Also fishing rods, fenders, an anchor and ropes have their own specially designed storage spaces so they won’t be on the way when riding the boat but will be close at hand when needed. The stern canopy available as an accessory is lowered and folded into a covered space behind the rear seat, suitable also for storaging the paddle and the light mast.
Besides the standard equipment following accessories are available to 475 Twin C: stern canopy, storage cover, seat cushion set, a sunbed with cushion as well as a fishing arch with rodholders.
As in the current Terhi Big Fun model, also the new 475 Twin C has a specially re-enforced, unsinkable ABS triple-layer construction. Additionally to the characteristical Terhi sandwich there is an extra shell with re-enforcements to make the hull even more stable. Thus the ride is smooth even at rough sea, exactly as one can expect from a Terhi. High freeboard and railings enable safe and convenient moving onboard as well as to and from the boat. Various OB engine options are offered, maximum power is 60 hp with long shaft (50 hp recommended). Among them, with 50 hp Honda 475 Twin C will reach a top speed of 30 knots, and with 60 hp Yamaha about 31 knots.
