Boston Whaler 190 Montauk

The Unsinkability legend of the Boston Whaler continues with the 190 Montauk due to its unique Unibond foam filled construction. The largest among the classic 170 Montauk and recently introduced 150 Montauk, the 190 Montauk features a center console design layout, with 360 degrees of fishability, a reversible pilot seat, and a spacious anchor locker forward. Standard features include: stainless steel steering wheel, binnacle control, two drink holders, an electrical switch panel and an acrylic windshield. Standard power is also a new product launch, Mercury’s 115 horsepower FourStroke outboard engine.
Critical to the center console/Montauk enthusiast is functionality. The 190 Montauk is full of functional designs including: a built in fuel tank; the stainless steel combination bow chock/navigation light at the bow; the molded-in, nonskid surface on the forward storage anchor locker hatch to provide secure footing; the reversible pilot seat with four locking positions for flexible seating options; three aft storage compartments; the modified Shepard’s crook forward of the console for easy grab rail access forward; strategically placed stainless steel grab rails throughout the boat for hand hold security in rough water.
A notable option is factory installed BNT/Navman electronics for a ready to go turn key boat. Other options are: a livewell, trolling motor plug with battery trays, stereo, a swim platform with hand rail and a telescoping stainless steel ladder, a cushioned cooler seat with backrest as well as an optional black or blue sun top with boot. The standard 115 Mercury outboard will cruise the 190 Montauk efficiently at 20 knots and reach a top speed of around 33 knots.
