Nimbus 335 Coupé

Modern, clean lines with the focus on design and innovative solutions combined with an easy-running hull providing excellent performance from a single engine. The boat is a follow-up of the 365 Coupé introduced in August 2008, and related to the entirely new generation of Coupé boats that all include the successful “sidewalk” concept. Sidewalk is the name of a new kind of deck layout where gangway space is maximised to one side of the boat, this making it easier to get on and off the boat and to spend time in comfort on deck while allowing space for a generously proportioned cockpit and cabin.
The 335 Coupé represents the second step in the production series of an entirely new generation of Coupé models filled with many exciting new features. The most obvious, apart from the sidewalk, are the new design, laminated windows with a large bay front window, openable, flush-fitted sliding doors to starboard and twin roof hatches providing the helmsman with both good visibility and others on board with a good standard of comfort in bad weather.
The innovative, flush-fitted side doors provide maximum gangway space and a large door opening with the door itself fitting in well with the design as a whole. The polyurethane laminated windows in the superstructure provide, apart from a modern appearance, unique stability for the superstructure and a very quiet saloon. Moreover, the boat offers a large after-deck, level with the generously proportioned bathing platform and the saloon.
The roomy and cosy ambience of the light and airy, modern saloon is owed to the tasteful combination of upholstery and cushions and the high quality joinery in the saloon and cockpit. The helm and instruments are very functional and modern, incorporating surface finishes that reduce light reflection and highly effective ergonomic design.
The development of the 335 Coupé has followed a policy of solid, functional comfort in modern design with environmentally conscious production engineering and good performance. Owing to the Nimbus development process and the Nimbus Production System, which has much in common with the production systems of the automobile industry, the 335 has been produced with focus on the environment. A vacuum injection system is used for fibreglass manufacture, this being a closed manufacturing process and reducing emissions to a minimum. The production system is based on an outer mould and an inner membrane lying against each other under vacuum. The suppression pulls the polyester in between the mould and the membrane without the polyester being exposed to either personnel or the surrounding environment.
By means of this method the boat is built with higher, more even quality, and is lighter and more rigid. Advantages that work to give the boat a useful cruising speed with only one engine. Other boats of the same size usually require twin engines to return the same performance. The resultant reduced fuel consumption too, contributes to reduced emissions. Nimbus in other words, are continuing to work according to plan; of developing boats with a steady reduction in environmental impact at both production and usage levels.
The 335 Coupé includes a quantity of innovative solutions. Generous stowage space and a layout that provide plenty of room for socialising and perfect conditions for the whole family or for getting together with friends and acquaintances. The large fore cabin contains a double berth featuring plenty of storage space in the form of pull-out drawers beneath the berth, a wardrobe and several thoughtfully planned stowage lockers and shelves.
The guest cabin to port contains a double berth, seating room and a large wardrobe. There is a head adjacent to the guest and fore cabins, fitted with a separate shower stall. Apart from the two cabins, berths can be made up on the sofas in the saloon. The cockpit includes a galley with large worktops and plenty of storage space. The cooker and sink are concealed beneath an elegant Corian® panel, which folds up quickly and easily. Lots of stowage space in the drawers, specially designed pull-out wine and glasses storage cabinet and a roomy, stainless steel fridge.
Simple cover handling, very quiet and smooth running and a well planned production process all contribute to the unique properties of the new Nimbus 335 Coupé. To sum-up, the 335 Coupé is a modern, solid and functional boat that makes a minimum of impact on our environment and which provides uncomplicated and enjoyable life at sea. The Nimbus Coupé is by far the best selling model series on the market, with over 3000 boats built and sold over the years, making this one of the most popular long-distance boats in the world.
