Sessa C 68

The most striking features of the new C68 are the distribution of space, the choice of material textures and colors, and the abundance of natural light throughout the yacht. For example, by incorporating patio doors full beam, the salon is completely open to the aft deck, eliminating the boundaries between external and internal space. The C68 is a new and innovative design that invites one to live onboard her as one would live in one’s home. A yacht with the spirit of a luxury attic while docked at the marina. The yacht for the fashionable, yet discerning couple.

The owner’s cabin best illustrates the philosophy of this yacht. An area that highlights one of the yacht’s important characteristics, where light is a fundamental element. The sleeping area and the master bath create a unique space whereby one becomes a part of the other, and vice versa. The double sinks are positioned in front of the large picture window and therapeutic lighting in the glass enclosed shower stall create a bright, inviting respite.

The internal spaces still maintain a nautical air about them but at the same time clearly separate the “domestic” areas. For this, Sessa Marine has collaborated with Dada who have conceptualized the yacht’s kitchen with the same creative spirit and functionality created for the home. The result? To merge in a narrow space the cooking, washing and refrigeration functions without sacrificing ergonomics or aesthetics that one would have in a beautiful home. This is highlighted with the magnificent “Cave à Vin” illuminated in LED, an outstanding example of the refined spirit of the yacht.

The C68 was designed with ever y space thoughtfully created to assure absolute comfort for owners and their guests. For example, a sun bed at the bow with 2 integrated chaise lounges invite one to reflect on a sunset as one would do from one’s own terrace at home.

Propelled with 2 MAN V12 engines of 1360 HP each, the C68 can ensure optimum performance and a comfortable ride. For the development of the new hull, Sessa Marine has reunited a working group consisting of their own engineering staff, the Arnaboldi office from Viareggio and Christian Grande, who was for many years the yard’s designer. The hydrodynamic form of the new hull has been developed with the Krylov Shipbuilding Institute of Saint Petersburg, the leading model test basin in Europe.
