Pershing 72

Superior design, elegance and style are a must for Pershing and have always been the hallmark of its craft. The care taken over every detail and the insistence on avant-garde solutions can be seen in the design of the Pershing 72’s exteriors and dynamic outline. Particular attention has been paid to the interiors thanks to the new partnership with Poltrona Frau - the unmistakeable style adds a new level of refinement to the craft giving it both character and personality. Design and construction methods have created a product centred around life onboard and thanks to the use of top quality leather and an insistence on ultimate comfort, the Pershing 72’ boasts a whole series of interior fittings, including new driving seats and prestige leather covered finishes for the command console, ceiling panels, side walls, cabin details and all the interior seating (including sofas, chairs and loungers).
A brand new pilot house – or command console – that is even more ergonomic and matches with greater style the upper saloon, the “heart” of the Pershing 72’. The arms on the driving seat have been shortened to suit the position of the driver more closely and facilitate movements. In addition, the quality of the leather and the grey tone of the seats has been chosen to differentiate the helm station from the environment around it and endow it with classic Pershing style and elegance.
The most advanced technology distinguishes all the equipment aboard the new Pershing 72’, bearing witness to the superior technological standards and top performance typical of the shipyard’s craft. In particular:
- the new hard top is more precisely a “sunroof”, as it slides open in both the saloon and cockpit allowing the cockpit to be opened completely to the sky or closed to protect it;
- the glass partition between the cockpit and the saloon slides away into the floor to enable the inside and outside to be transformed into a single environment that stretches from the helm station area to the stern sundeck;
- the new Genius gangplank, created together with Besenzoni and now in the process of being patented, is a multi-functional device that can quickly become a stowaway gangway, a swimming ladder or a quayside mooring ramp;
- the garage is distinguished by a special section that can be lowered into the water and is so spacious and efficient that it can store and launch a 3.2m tender and a Jet Ski.
- two 1823 hp MTU Common Rail engines with an Arneson drive (ASD 14L) are the power behind the Pershing 72’s high performance that reaches top speeds of up to 45 knots.
The interior layout is another feature that makes the new Pershing 72’ so special as it offers owner and guests ultimate comfort thanks to its increased floor space. The innovative plan creates a series of interwoven environments that create ideal contexts for guests to meet in. These range from the spacious sundecks in the stern, to the extremely versatile saloon and galley, which thanks to its new position is now a highly sociable area.
