Morgan 83 Fast Commuter

The Morgan 83 Fast Commuter is one of the most appreciated examples of classic motoryacht on the international yachting scene.

The unmistakable lines of the design of Tom Fexas, one of the most important international naval architects, develop the concept of the Fast Commuters and obtain an exceptional result both from an esthetic and a technological point of view. The 83 Fast Commuter, in fact, combines the fluidity of the retro lines, an expression of quality and tradition, with the most modern building technology to create a boat dedicated to boat owners who have an authentic passion for the sea.

From the ample stern bathing platform, with two sofas for relaxation during swimming, to the spacious bow sun pad, all the exterior spaces of the Morgan Fast Commuters are studied and equipped to experience complete relaxation in maximum comfort throughout the cruise.

With its 25 meters in length, it is presented to the market as a real jewel of the sea, where the atmosphere of authentic tradition experienced on board, combines with the technological aspects to render it agile, versatile and reliable.

The 83 Fast Commuter, as the entire Morgan range, manages at best to interpret the concept of uncommon luxury, synonymous of fascination and timeless elegance. The skillful use of building materials and particular décor details makes the traditional atmosphere unique.

The 83 Fast Commuter is propelled by two MTU 1,150 Hp engines, which allow a cruising speed of 25 knots and a maximum speed of 30 knots.

Open spaces
The structure of the 83 Fast Commuter recalls the classic lines of a timeless yacht characterized by three decks.

Starting from the top, there is the flybridge, placed above the main salon, with direct access to the cockpit, from which to enjoy the incredible view while relaxing on the comfortable sun cushions or maneuvering the boat from the external helm station.

Going down to the main deck at stern are comfortable and elegant sofas surrounding the cockpit and a dining table which can easily seat 8-12 people. All the décor of the external cockpit is cared for in minute detail and designed following the rounded and harmonious lines of the whole boat.

The living area
The entrance to the living area is from the stern cockpit through the elegant, solid wood door. It is an ample and comfortable environment at the disposal of the boat owner and his guests, characterized by refined interiors, realized with the maximum care and attention to detail, in the Morgan tradition. On both sides there are two ample windows with a complete view of the sea which make the living area luminous. The deck has an ample conversation area, an elegant U-shaped sofa, a dining table and at portside a wall cabinet with drawers, a small storage space, an LCD TV, and a hi-fi system.

Beyond the living area, before going down the stairs towards the master area, is the helm station upholstered in fine leather. A key element in understanding the true connotation of these Fast Commuters is the preponderance of wood and leather which give the guests the sensation of being in an environment of strictly traditional taste while at the same time being supported by the most advanced technology.

Sleeping quarters
Going down the stairs at starboard, there are two guest cabins with twin beds and an ensuite bathroom. The ample VIP cabin is at bow and has two “V” positioned beds and an ensuite bathroom as well.

The midship area below deck on the Morgan 83 is divided in two, one part has the captain’s cabin and the crew cabin, the other has an ample, marble galley complete with appliances in order to make the guest feel at home.

The master cabin is a real suite. It is positioned at stern and has a separate entrance directly from the cockpit. It also has a king-sized bed, a sofa, desk and an ensuite bathroom. The ample space and the combination of oak and upholstery create an ambience where the boat owner can relax in perfect tranquility thanks to the three-seat sofa and plasma TV.
