Sessa Dorado 26

It could be said Dorado 26 is the third generation of the model 750 TIM that, despite being presented in blueprints as early as the 1999, never came to life. Compared to model 750, this novelty for 2006 includes changes in hull construction (V Poliedric), while standard equipment is more wealthier. With this model, Italians once again proved their indisputable designing skill, in this case contemporary reinterpretation of the traditional Mediterranean boats. Such models never came out of date, because simplicity, dynamic beauty, compactness and solid maritime qualities adorn them. Likewise, considering proportion between price and quality one gets for it, it is completely understandable why these models sell very well.
Layout of interior space is as well as by other models from these series, a single cabin and toilet in the forward part, and saloon with galley within wheel-house. The wheel-house is equipped with opening top in plexiglass, what gives the brand-new dimension to the interior. Cockpit offers folding transom bench (which is convertible to sunpad and can be capsized for engine inspection), whereas bathers will appreciate the wide transom platform and shower. Powered by Volvo Penta D3-190 EVC DP-S (140kw), burdened with two persons aboard, Dorado 26 achieves planing time of six seconds with speed of 13 knots. She cruises at 22 knots with fuel consumption of 24 litres per hour and 231 nautical miles cruising range. Maximum speed with the same engine amounts to 30 knots at 4000 rpm.
