Calafuria Catarsi Scorpionero 950

Prominent Italian architect Vicenzo Catarsi has designed classically shaped appearance by which Scorpionero put quality and reliability to possible buyers. Hospital-like deck and railing in white gives the boat specific dandy peculiarity, but good maritime qualities, robustness and twin Yanmar diesels always find their way to interested customers. What always attracts attention where security is primary, is the underwater part of hull made according to the "Calafuria philosophy". Thanks to the stern wings the underwater part of Scorpionero does´nt contrast with the sea, offering the excellent stability in the navigation as well as at the anker. Based on words of the designer, with his boat each kind of sea becomes simply like the highway.
Heavily built on fully cored deep-V hull with sharp entry, the Scorpionero 950 is clearly a good-looking boat with a powerful profile. Particularly spacious for her size, the Scorpionero is available with two cabin layout under the deck and with salon and galley in the composition of wheelhouse. The interior is finished in solid cherry woodwork and good craftsmanship is evident throughout. Outside, the large cockpit is set up for serious fishing and includes a transom door and rod holders as standara, and livewell, freezer, canopy and teak flooring as option. The long list of standard equipment with possibility to include also abundant optional equipment completely satisfy criteria for spending several days on the sea, either cruising or engaged in sports fishing (heating, air conditioning, generator, solar panels).
Standard Yanmar (2x220) or Volvo (2x225) diesels cruise the Scorpionero 950 at 22-23 knots and reach a top speed of 30. The optional twin Yanmar or Volvo 260 hp diesels provide a cruising speed of 25 knots and top speed of about 33 knots.
