Pedro-Boat Cantia 28‘

The Dutch Pedro shipyard has turned its attention to entry-level boats for beginners. Normally Pedro builds steel cruisers, so they had the GRP hull of the 8.45 m Pedro Cantia 28‘ built for them. The design is based on an English pilot boat and, being in accordance with CE B classification, Pedro’s little Cabin Cruiser is also ideally suited to sailing in coastal waters.

Pedro-Boat showed the newest layout for the Cantia 28\' Cabin Cruiser at the boot Düsseldorf 2011. In total, 3 new layouts are introduced for this model. With these new layouts, Pedro-Boat answers the demand for more layout possibilities within the Cantia range. Especially outside the Netherlands, there is a demand for other layouts than the current one. In England, for example, customers would like to be able to have a navigation seat next to the steering seat. Layout OVV has the possibility to easily change the dinette into a navigation seat. When this is not used, the users have a full dinette available.

The Cantia 28’ Cabin Cruiser has a closed salon and steering position, with wide doors opening to the open cockpit. The wide gangways, reliable Volvo Penta engine and stable sailing characteristics make it a boat easy to handle . The interior of the boat is perfectly finished with warm teak wood. The Cantia 28’ Cabin Cruiser is fitted with many accessories for short or longer stays on the water.

Pedro-Boat works a lot with standard layouts. But as every part of the production is done at the shipyard itself, there are many posiibilities to incorporate personal wishes and demands from the client in the area of layout or other options.
