Nimbus 42 Nova

Following the success of the Nimbus 350 Nova Coupé, the Nimbus yard is lunched a 12.50-metre-long Nimbus 42 Nova. Like all Novas, this newcomer is designed as a walkaround craft with teak-clad, extremely wide and above all low-line walkway allowing safe access around the superstructure. The extremely roomy cockpit is separated from the saloon by sliding doors which, when opened, serve to create a large and continuous accommodation unit. Under the forecastle are three cabins for six people to spend the night. Giving the craft its propulsion power are two D6 Volvo Penta diesels with ratings from 310 to 370 hp (228 to 287kW) – and these can be incorporated in either a shaft or a Z drive arrangement.
