Monachus 45 Pharos

Monachus 45 has been conceived as a two-cabin owner´s yacht of highest class. Deck is adapted to easy and safe navigation, cabin-top can be entirely utilized, while cockpit and saloon stand as a whole intended to provide a pleasant stay. As it is nowadays so often the case, galley is positioned on a somewhat lower level and is in that way partly shielded from the view, and partly left open so that communication can be conveyed disruptedly. The two cabins, master and guest, each have a bathroom and are spacious.
The yacht is propelled by two Cummins engines, each with a 425 hp, ensuring maximum speed of 34 knots and cruising speed of 28 knots. Fuel tanks of 1200 l are sufficient to sail across 270 nautic miles, and 600 l of water should also be sufficient for a few days. Length over all is practically identical as the hull length (13.85 m and 13.80 m), beam amounts to 4.20 m, draught 11.4 t.
It is a yacht intended for a specific market niche, for customers looking for a special, in many segments a semi-custom yacht. It is something that will easily be achieved in the MONACHUS Shipyard where the production is custom-built. MONACHUS 45 has a retro design, soft elegant lines; designed to be easily movable and maritime. There was no compromise in the architect´s mind when the hull was being considered – it has a deep V-profile with a 19 degree tilt and two longitudinal stream-lines. It is rather obvious that laws of hydrodinamics were a priority, hence the interior was utilized in conformity with ergonomic standards. Construction is operated in the way which satisfies highest levels of ecology and that was an important segment when it came to deciding on engines.
