Marino ABP 27

By combining 50 years of experience with a advanced design, innovations and patented solutions Marino makes the dreams of todays’s boater come true. The first boat in its category corresponds perfectly to its name: APB – All Purpose Boat.

Day cruiser turns into sports boat - The new all Purpose Boat APB designed by Marino is perfectly suited for the urban boater’s needs. It is a day cruiser that by a flick of a switch turns into a sports boat. It also has all the features that are needed for a safe and roomy coaster for the islanders. The Marino APB brings a whole new dimension to boating. A practical “walk-around”, a sporty sunny day-cruiser, a hard-top for overcast weather as well as a pleasantly ample cabin cruiser – Marino APB is all the things.

Accomodation for six people - After a sunny day the interior of the boat turns into a lounging area in a moment. There is a fridge and an ice box under the driver’s seat. As an option there is room for a practical sink and stove, “galley module”. WC and a chance to hang your clothes are prudent luxuries in boating. There is plenty of storage room under the seats. Reversing the driver’s seat gives you a saloon that seats six people.

Construction - Marino has worked closely with infusion consultants DIAB for the layup specifications, so it comes as no surprise to find extensive use of lightweight sandwich construction and a partly cored hull. Of particular note is the unique silver grey metal flake gelcoat (for both hull and upper wheelhouse) which will be a signature feature of all APBs. The finish is protected by clear lacquer applied to the mould before the gelcoat itself is sprayed on.

A superb performer, 300hp Volvo Penta D4 diesel will cruise the ABP 27 at a fast 28 knots and reach above 36 knots top.
