Etap 1100 AC

Known as successful boat builder with 30 years of experience in building superbly seaworthy, safe, and durable sailboats, Etap Yachting started with unique project of bulding motor boats. The Etap 1100 AC is a traditional long-range motor cruiser, with classical aft cabin profile. The design philosophy behind the 1100 AC was to give the bluewater, coastal waters and also canal and river cruising adventurers a pure safe and comfortable cruiser with good performance and planty of range. She is built on an unsinkable fiberglass-reinforced polyester hull (polyurethane foam with closed cells is injected into the space between the inner and outer part) with moderate beam and a shallow keel for stability and tracking. Deck and hull of the Etap 1100 AC are for the most part built using the double-skinned Etap construction. This officially classifies the yacht as unsinkable and provides increased form stability thanks to the greater hull stiffness, a comfortable and healthier climate thanks to the almost condensation-free cabins and a unique finish thanks to the complete insulation of the hull and deck.
Very good visibility from the raised helm position and large cockpit which can be easy protect, make her well suited for serious cruising events. The three-cabin floorplan is arranged with the galley and guest cabin forward, a few steps down from the salon. The galley layout is practical with double sink, 2-burner electric hob, microwave oven, refrigerator and Coriann worktops. The front cabin (headroom 1.97 m) is arranged with 2 berths and extra cushion for double berth, large hanging locker, head, and 2 fixed windows to provide a panoramic outlook. The aft stateroom includes a double berth, private head and a large hanging locker. The well designed layout of the salon (solid cherry wood) ensures that there is ample for 6 people and the large surface area of the windows provides an open and airy feeling. Also, the panoramic view is excellent. Additional feauters include an integral swim platform, reasonably wide sidedecks, mechanical anchor windlass and bowthruster. A standard engine is 160 HP Yanmar (type 4LHA-HTP), and single 240 HP Yanmar will cruise the Etap 1100 AC with a top speed of 18 knots.
