Compact Distress Signal
Breakthrough in personal safety. Marine distress signals are the most universally recognised means of signalling for help. Many dinghy sailors, windsurfers kite surfers, and jet skiers, say standard marine distress signals are too large and bulky. Now the Compact Distress Signal means anyone on the water has the best chance of being seen in an emergency. Lightweight, easy to use and affordable, the Compact Distress Signal contains three red pyrotechnic flares, which elevate to at least 40 m and burn for 5.5 seconds, giving visibility of around 15 miles. This product will also be of use for aviation and outdoor users. (www.chemringmarine.com)
