This elegant cruiser is drawing by Marc Lombard, benefits Jeanneau´s new technology in respecting environment (injection decks via the "Prisma Process"). Solid fibreglass hull appearance expressively shows vigorousity for sailing in any condition. Sun Odyssey 39i offers deep, well-protected and cosy cockpit, till boat´s profile has balanced lines that provide good visibility. The cockpit includes easy access to the wide transom, a large table, sculpted coamings and teak bench seating. Optional teak decks complete the feeling of luxury. Twin steering positions with winches placed near the helms provide easy sail handling. Harken deck hardware and powerful sail plan make sailing the Sun Odyssey 39i fast and fun. Carry an asymmetrical spinnaker on the optional bow sprit for the ultimate in flexibility and performance. For safety, a dedicated liferaft locker is integrated into the stern skirt.
In interior, saloon completely utilises the biggest possible hull width, which contributes to its comfort. Galley is here situated in the aft part, which facilitates preparing of the meals during sailing, while large amount of light contributes to good chef´s mood. This boat is currently delivered with two cabins, but soon will also be available charter version with a third cabin. Owner version has head with separate shower compartment and large stockroom for sails.
There´s also the 39i Performance version, which beside the higher mast, bigger sail area (main 38.8m2, g 40.3m2, spi 128m2), deeper keel (2.20m) and folding 3-blade propeller has the all equipment necessary for the equal participating in regattas.
