Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 39 DS

Sun Odyssey 39 DS, as a model for 2007, is a practical sailing boat with good maritime qualities and the boatyard is expecting that she accomplishes considerable commercial success on the market. She has been made according to the same philosophy as other sailboats from DS range, providing largest possible saloon space with lots of natural light from the sleek windows. Hull design by Marc Lombard, the internationally renown naval architect, ensures seaworthiness, sleek lines and performance. The high level of interior comfort and styling is due to the vast experience and savoir-faire of the Italian design office of Vittorio Garroni. The key element of the interior layout is the spacious liveability of the boat, because two large cabins can accommodate 5 to 7 people. Add to this a real head compartment with a shower, a comfortable and inviting saloon and time spent onboard the Sun Odyssey 39 DS becomes a true pleasure. Very well-devised cockpit also offers excellent comfort, during sailing as well as on anchor. It´s equiped with the twin steering wheels, generous cockpit table, as well as the adequate sail area (70 m2).

Sun Odyssey Deck Saloon «Performance» 39 ds
Who says cruising should be slow?

Building on the success of the Sun Odyssey Performance range, Jeanneau has decided to develop the same concept for its Deck Saloon range allowing even greater speed, tuning and enjoyment to the world’s most complete range of Deck Saloon yachts. Built on the powerful hulls of the successful Sun Odyssey line, the taller mast and additional equipment in the Performance version gives its owner the advantage :
- Tri-radial cut sails made from a sandwich of Mylar and taffeta fabrics provide form stability and protection against UV and abrasion.
- Precise tuning and control of the rigging and sails are the keys to Performance sailing. In order to achieve this precision, Dyneema running rigging, Dyform standing rigging, adjustable genoa cars and adjustable backstay are all standard on the Performance version.
- Below the waterline, a profiled Performance keel and a feathering prop.
