The Pershing 5X is the result of a collaboration between Ferretti Group’s Engineering Department, Product Strategy Committee, and Fulvio De Simoni Design Studio. As usual, Pershing does not budge an inch from its proven recipe – sports appearance supplemented with powerful engines, IPS or surface drive and high interior comfort in extra modern style. Besides sliding roof, open cockpit offers pleasant relaxed atmosphere on an aft sun bed and on comfortable sofa that encircles cockpit table. Wet bar with sink and refrigerator is placed within reach. Sophisticated technological solutions with which handling requires effort as difficult as pressing a particular button, deserve special description. Interior space is distributed into two or three cabins, two heads and a saloon. For the time being, there are two engine configurations that result in different engine room layouts. With the twin Volvo D11 IPS 950 engines, 725 hp each, it reaches a top speed of 35 knots. With the upgraded twin CAT 12.9, 1,000 hp each, surface propellers, the top speed jumps to 45 knots.
