Technical details
Producer: Mercury Marine (USA)

Mercury Marine officially presented the new Verado 350 last year on Miami Boat Show. The latest addition packs 350 HP into a smaller, more compact package. With the lightest model weight in at 668 lbs (303 kg), it is 95 lbs (43 kg) lighter than the competition. When similarly equipped, the 350 is faster than its predecessor but offers similar fuel economy at cruising speed.

Since increased power means increased heat, Mercury developed a cold-air intake system that wraps around the powerhead to capture cool air from the outside and pumps the fresh air directly to the supercharger. A new “labyrinth design” in the top cowl keeps the powerhead dry. The Verado 350’s new supercharger is also water-cooled, which reduces the effort required to compress air. This, in turn, increases the supercharger’s efficiency and durability.

The Verado 350 is programmed with Idle Charge System and perfectly integrates with Mercury’s SmartCraft® Digital Throttle & Shift (DTS) system, both of which comes standard along with power steering in all versions of the engine. A Joystick is optional for twin, triple and quad installations.

The 350 is available in 20-, 25- and 30-inch shaft lengths and three different shades: Phantom Black, Cold Fusion and Warm Fusion.
