Expanding GTD series

Glastron

Launched in 2017, the line of GTD Deck Boats offers a different style, very 1970’s,
with a new profile, marked by oblique lines and a U-shaped hull. A trend that we also see again today in the universe of sport cars, such as the latest Maserati.

Beyond the improvements offered on boats launched in 2018 – a new upholstery motif with V-shaped stitches, an integrated forward swim ladder and a changing room behind the port side seat – the line will include 2 new models for the 2019 season, a boat under 18 feet, and a Surf series that is now available in the 2 sterndrive models.

For 2019, Glastron will welcome the smallest member of its GTD family, with the all-new GTD 180.

Designed with the same style, the same specs, and the same quality as her predecessors, the GTD 180 is characterised by her great ergonomic design: her extra-wide forward platform and single console to the starboard side offer a maximum amount of space for seating and easy movement about the boat.

This small, 18-foot outboard model can still accommodate eight people on board, with a fuel tank of 121 litres and a maximum engine power of 150 HP. The boat planes very quickly, even at full capacity, and enables tight precise turns due to her legendary Glastron SSV hull.

There are three points of access aboard the GTD 180: an aft swim ladder, a portside access to the cockpit and an optional removable swim ladder to enable quick forward access. Simply stowed under the aft bench seating when not in use, the rapid installation offers additional versatility.

Optional removable portside backrests enhance comfort and enable reversing the direction of the seating to use the optional table or to accommodate equipment for all types of water sports.

U-shaped aft seating with integrated storage provides additional space for relaxation, while removable cushions transform the forward deck into a sundeck.

A design priority for seating has not limited the availability of storage space on board, including a location to store larger equipment for water sports.

As with the 20-foot and 22-foot versions, the GTD 180 features numerous accessories and the latest technology at the helm: side panels, control screens, stainless steel switches, a smooth, tinted glass windscreen, cell phone storage with USB port and AUX input: details that reveal the quality and character of Glastron boats.
