The booster converts a low DC voltage to a high powerful 3 phase 400 AC voltage. This means for powerful use like bowthrusters the DC batteries can be mounted anywhere in the vessel. This means to the thruster thinner wiring, higher efficiency for the electric system, cheaper 400 VAC motors for use on all applications and no separate generator needed to create a 400VAC system on the vessel. Input power can be supplied by main engine, solar panels etc. For this system the power is theoretical unlimited, depending on the capacity of the batteries. www.abshydro.nl
