727 Sailbags
Technical details
Producer: 727 Sailbags (FR)

Each bag has its own personality. Each creation is unique: you will never see it anywhere else.

The luxury of 727 Sailbags products is being open to the world: they are carried in town, on a plane, on pontoons or in the countryside.

Anna designs the women's models, JB designs the men's. Well-known skippers sign the limited editions. During the creation phase, JB likes to join a sails roughness and coldness with the softness and warmth of suede.

The sail that each item is made from belongs to a boat that has cruised around the world. The boat's route is retraced on an "authenticity label" which is sewn onto each creation.

To avoid burying or incinerating sails that are often non-biodegradable, 727 Sailbags collects them from professionals or individuals in order to recycle them. In addition, the company commits itself to donating part of the profits to sea-protection associations.

727 Sailbags was born in Brittany, France for boating enthusiasts. Creations are crafted in their workshops alongside a Figaro II being prepared together with a 60-foot IMOCA from the last Vendee-Globe...

727 Sailbags is one of the last French companies crafting leather in France, and hopes to lead the way for a new generation of recycling-based national manufacturers.
