Oyster 655

Light Kevlar and carbon provide the 20.60m long Oyster 655 – plenty of stability and strength in combination with that much-desired reduction in weight. The keel immerses deep into the water – up to 2.93 m. The yacht carries 264m2 of sail cloth (masthead cutter with fully-battened main), and weighs in at 37.5t fully rigged. It was designed by Rob Humphreys and the Oyster design team as the smaller sister of the well established Oyster 72. Nine models have already been sold straight from the drawing board.
