Salpa Laver 32.5 (31.5)

Cruiser with an attractive profile and good performances is a very satisfactory vessel, not only regarding the speed but also manoeuvring abilities. Planing is quick and stable without too much lifting of the bow, owing to underwater delta hull construction. Helm station contains double helm seat equipped with all necessary engine instruments and enough place for additional navigation equipment. Beside helm seats, on the port side is situated attractively designed lounge, intended for the crew. Rest of the crew can be comfortably entertained in the aft part of the cockpit on a semi-circular sofa, supplemented with a table and a wet bar containing not only standard sink but also handy stove and place for optional refrigerator. On the very aft is integrated swim platform with two storage places, outfitted with shower unit and boarding ladder for easier access to and exit from the sea. Deck is encircled by stainless steel railing that enables both safe approach to the bow during dock-side manoeuvres or anchoring and carefree basking in the sun on the bow sun pad.

Nine-metre hull length enabled designers to devise very functional interior that consists of three entireties. Bow part comprises owner´s double cabin, armchair and necessary hanging locker. Mid-stateroom has separate beds for easier access, while rest of the space is furnished with armchair and hanging locker. Central part is occupied by the saloon with a L-shaped settee that can serve also as a berth, with which number of sleeping places amounts to six. Galley is nicely equipped (double sink with mixer tap, two-burner stove and refrigerator), which enables preparation of more complicated dishes. Head comprises electrical toilet and bidet, wash basin, toilet locker, shower and a large mirror.

Laver 32.5 is regularly delivered with MerCruiser gasoline engines of 2x227 HP with Bravo 3 drive (counter-rotating propellers). With optional MerCruiser engines 5.0L EFI B3 of 2x257HP, she achieves maximum speed of 42 knots, while cruising speed is 24 knots (at 3.000 rpm). Notably lower maximum speed of 32 knots she achieves when powered by Volvo Penta diesel engines KAD 32PDP of 2x170HP. In return, cruising speed of 23 knots is almost identical to the cruising speed she achieves with gasoline engines, and also much thriftier. Additional equipment range is versatile and, among other things, includes bimini top, outer refrigerator, microwave oven, electric anchor windlass, dockside power with battery charger, generator, air-conditioner, folding aft davit for an auxiliary boat, hydraulic trim tabs and antifouling hull paint.
Thanks to extending stern platform, Laver gained another foot in the name, so, for the season of 2003, she is called Laver 32.5. Besides, novelties are integrated bow pulpit for easier access to the shore and majestic blue colour of the hull.
