Just launched, the Voltage II from FellerYachting yard has some mayor improvements to that fast boat this season, as the new lightweight hull construction; new Batterypack, more reliable, safer and longer lifetime; more capacity available; extended drivetime, and the new feature as, liftingpoints, water-ski hook, etc. Voltage of II is a small unique sportsboat for 4 persons, which attains the enviable top speed of 25 knots.
The boat is powered with Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) Batterys, which are known to be one of the safest and environmentaly friendliest batteries. They provide highpower (8C) and can rapidly be recharged. Their solid construction make them very resistant to mechanical impacts, and they will neither explode nor catch fire, not even in the case of overcharging.
The flat dischargement-curve enables the battery to have a constant capacity until the end of its power. They have very little effects of self-dischargement and do not contain any toxic heavy metals.
The used Battery Management System is aligned to batteries in particular, and monitores them during the process of charging and also during the driving operations.
The charging and operational state can be viewed and monitored on the touchscreen in the dashboard. It is also possible to check every single battery cell with it.
