Azimut 38

Her fashionable appearance undoubtedly indicates that construction technology is identical, as well as the interior hidden under the deck. Although smallest Azimut fleet cruiser, she is impressive in all the details. This model has been built on a lightweight, sandwiched deep-V hull with variable geometry and longitudinally reinforced hand-laid fibreglass structure with embedded half prop pockets. Her sandwiched construction with additional structural reinforcements ensures effortless navigation, while isophtalic finishing layer gives the hull resistance against UV beams and osmosis. Steering can be performed from either closed helm station/salon or the fly bridge.

Azimut 38 is a boat that is extremely easy to handle, thanks from a series of solutions designed for effortlessness control of the equipment including the Easy Docking joystick to assist with mooring and the Proteo system with a touch screen monitor for monitoring all the onboard systems. Proteo also manages simultaneous use of the main loads and prevents potential temporary blackouts.

Interior offers remarkably large space appropriate for a four-member crew. By relocating galley to lower level beside the cabins, saloon gained extra spaciousness and now really glows. Large glass windows open onto the main deck and below deck where the master cabin has side windows as well as the hatch whereas the VIP cabin, in the centre of the boat, looks out onto the sea through two scenic windows.

The decor gives an idea of freshness with predominantly light colours and natural fabrics. Pickled oak, leather and steel feature in every area. There are Vetrofreddo® washbasins and teak flooring in the two bathrooms. Powered by Cummins QSB 5.9 – V drive of 2x355HP, Azimut 38 achieves maximum speed of 32 knots and cruising speed of 28 knots.
